写英语读后感篇1
"animal farm" is a british writer george orwells works, the content of this book is very interesting, but seemingly camouflage in the fairy tale story, mapping connotation is actually very profound and thought-provoking, so we need to carefully taste.
the story is very simple, tells the story of a farm animal from human host oppression, resistance in the two pigs named snowball and napoleon led off farm animals, to achieve a "in power" desire. but soon the revolutionary pigs broke up, and one of the leaders of the snowball was declared by napoleon as the enemy of the revolution. napoleon, the leader of the pig, has gained more and more power to become the new privileged class. the slight discontent of the animals would lead to bloody cleansing, and napoleon would eventually become a farmer like exploiter, and the animals would return to their former misery.
the animals in the farm symbolize different roles and classes. a male horse boxer but diligent and capable of ignorance, although feel contradictory thoughts and behaviors of pigs, but could not clear, the more hard work to his paralysis, symbolizes the desire for equality with the grass-roots democracy; herd is the ignorance of the masses, blindly deny everything for napoleon, napoleon said is correct; the donkey benjamin represents the thinking of intellectuals, it is still oppressed that farm, just exploiters into napoleon from farmers, the doings of napoleon skeptical wise but themselves, so life is still low-key, cautious. and hens, cats, and so on. they all represent different classes.
in this revolution, farm animals are poor. they are like people on the bottom of society. they dont have lofty ideals or ambitions to create a better future. they just want to improve their lives. pigs tell animals to build windmills to improve their lives, but in the end they cant even live up to their standard of living. the reason is that the fruits of labour are more exploited, because animals think that what they do is for themselves. the boxer shouted, "ill work harder." i threw myself into my labor until i ran out of my life and sold it to the slaughterhouse. the exploitation of animals by animals is more deceptive than the exploitation of animals, deception undermines the resistance of animals, and the prohibition of singing the song of the livestock of england is also aimed at eliminating the resistance of animals. without resistance, authoritarian rule becomes easy and long. the so-called "freedom" has become a thorough joke, they are only in the plight of silent struggle. as zhang yanghao - "shanpoyang - tongguan huaigu" said: "xing, people suffering; death, suffering people."
orwell tells people with an allegory: "a post revolutionary regime, if there is no democratic supervision, there is no rule of law, must be alienated, it must go to his opposite.". the revolution always begins with anti despotism, as the old and young school says when it comes to animals: "the root of all evil lies in the absolute rule of man."". in fact, democracy requires no high quality, no need for knowledge, just a sense of responsibility. only the people are really aware that they need it, and true democracy will come true.
写英语读后感篇2
" he sings a song of the younger world, which is the song of the pack."when the last sentence vanished from my eyes,i can still perceive an echo of a song - a wild song, which knocks up my dizzy mind that always cheerfully sink into the so-called civilized world without questioning.wild,is no longer a symbol of the law of jungle but a headspring where streams out love, passion, bravery, loyalty, friendship, venture, competition and tolerance all these virtues can easily be found in the call of the wild.
jack london is a worldwide renowned novelist.his stories successfully reflect the contradictory views of man's nature and destiny in and against the wild, and his "fight to survive" notion has gained him and his works timeless popularity, particularly, the call of the wild
it tells a story of a gigantic dog, named buck, who is stolen from a rich and comfortable home and forced to learn to survive as an alaskan sled dog.buck,at first,is too savage for the company of man until he coincidently encounters his beloved master-kindhearted john thornton.finally, john's incidental death breaks buck's last tie to the man and drives him into his long-desired wild with his pack.in the story, buck and john simply adopt themselves to answer the call of the wild.when it comes to buck's mind that one day he will eventually leave john- his master, all he wants to do is just to help him finish the gold-rush-trip.he " from then on,night and day, never put a halt,in desperation,he burst into long stretch of flight, did not to stay him…" buck wished to remember john's image forever,he "for two days and nights never left camp, never let thornton out of his sight.he followed him about at his work, watched him while saw him into blankets at night and out of them in the morning…" when i read these words i just could not hold my tears bursting.can a real man devote himself to loyalty and friendship in such a way?on the other hand, john thornton is not only a dog-lover but also a brave and venturous man.he is so straightforward and simple that makes him an accommodating he firmly roots a goal into his heart,it seems that nothing could prevent him from accomplishing it except death.i do not know whether the persistence is the most vital element to make a man successful, but what i know is that you are not far away from success once you occupy it.
it is jack london who plunges me into the animated wild from the hustle-and-bustle and from desperate city.there,i merely cannot deny the attraction of buck's bark, which enlightens me to pursue another lost half of the nature in mankind, and to dig out a true meaning of life.dare we imagine that london intentionally employs buck to set us a model with perfect characters?the answer is affirmed.we,as animals, are from the wild but shedding off more and more wild signs, which demonstrate us as the "uncivilized".however, who can fully guarantee that we have not overlooked some essential wild-endowed virtues?especially, nowadays,it seems more crucial for us to stop looking at the post-industrialized world and to ponder for a while.when cheats, betrayals, lies, lusts and crimes stuff a materialized society, whether london uses this novel to help himself escape the reality or warn the earthy people,to us,modern man,is all the same.it appears horrible that in modern society many people are enthusiastically talking about how to build up "special relations" to the authority, deceiving and lying to each them life is a mask-wearing process rather than a hard work.every time, you browse webpages, scandals in politics, business, the entertainment circle and even on campus crowd into your eyes.oh,what is the essence of human beings?what is the civilization to us?do we need to look back at where we came from?is it good or bad for us to speak out what we think and to do what the consciences demand us to?are we wasting talents given by the mighty nature?be an honest, straightforward, warmhearted, emotional and responsible man or be a shrewd, cold hearted and astute hypocrite?while embracing the "civilized" rubbish,we are losing those good virtues, which are the calls of the we lose them,we are to lose ourselves, and we will get nowhere.i wish this dreadful thought is totally a fallacy, but, now,it is chilling me day when i happen to stand on the top of a grand mountain to observe a boundless prairie enveloped by the sapphire firmament and combed by gusts of the rhythmical west wind,a morning sun sprinkles me her warmth and brilliance in a graceful way, however,at that moment,i am afraid that i cannot appreciate these beauties,i am a lost " civilized man" then.
please, please do not let come true while we are still able to answer the call of the wild.

this summer holiday,i made a good friend --- robinson though ‘robinson crusoe’. ‘robinson crusoe’is a classical masterpiece which attracted me very much, and brought me much enlightenmet.i really lerned a lot of things from the eternal opus.
the ‘robinson crusoe’have been authored by famouse english writer---defoe. it’s about dramatis personae robinson who met a frightful wind while he sailed on the sea. he was the only survinal, but he drifted to a uninhabited island. he bravely struggled, industriously worked and combated with barbarians. robinson lived alone on the island for 28 years. he experienced many difficulties and dangers.
robinson was a great person, he conquered countleand unimaginable hardships. if i stayed on a lonely island, i absolutely couldn’t vanquish dangers. i maybe would lose confidence for life. i respect robinson very much, he is a real hero in my heart.
he lived on the island for about 30 years without any food, tool or habitation. he must depend by himself. robinson wasn’t afraid of hardships, he had the fortitude spirit .he was brave in adventure and was good at labor. he used his head and hands to struggle all the time. i admire his courge very much, because these were not easy, work at all.
in fact, we also need the spirit of being undefeatalle indefatigable.
like robinson. if we believe in ourselves, never give up and do we best, we must be successful!
robinson was a great miracle, he achieved mumerous. ‘impossible things’. ‘robinson crusoe’ was an immortal novel, because it gave us a courageous, intrepidity, diligent, indefatigable and wise ordinany person, a vanquish nature, a hero who exploited nature. the book is a really excellent adventuresome novel,
there is no perfect life in the world, but we can change our fate. if we have confidences and work hard, we absolute will be victorious, and the most important thing is ‘never give up!

the story of the little prince, is sad, a pain of love. love was serious and sincere, cut bone pain and unbearable.
the little prince's love, pure and elegant, sincere seriously. if the dead could make him back to his own the stars, if death can let him meet with the person i love, he will choose to die, threw because he is deeply in love with her, because his heart was tamed by rose. he did the same, he gently down, and as he came to earth is unknown.
thoreau said, people live a life of quiet desperation, he is far away from the crowd, the sun go down to find the root of all decadent, nothing, this is a dusty heaven. fortunately our hearts there is a story of the little prince, sad but beautiful, little prince sorrow for the pure love; good, because of love to give a person touched and hope.
because the story of the little prince, when we are in a quiet life, in the heart has a hope and tenderness, have touched and about domestic responsibilities.
写英语读后感篇5
once when i was six years old, i saw a magnificent picture in a book, called true stories from nature, about the primeval forest. it was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. here is a copy of the drawing.
in the book it said:" boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. after that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."
i pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. and after some work with a colored pencil i succeeded in making my first drowing,my drawing number one. it looked like this:
i showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.
but they answered:"frighten? why should any one be frightened by a hat?"
my drawing was not a picture of a hat. it was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. but since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, i made another drawing: i drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. they always need to have things explained. my drawing number two looked like this:
the grown-ups response, this time, was to adviseme to lay aside my drawing of boa constrictors, whether from the inside or the outside and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar. that is why, at the age of six, i gave up what might have been a magnificent career as a painter. i had been disheartened by the failure of my drawing number one and my drawing number two. grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it si tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.
so then i chose another profession, and learned to pilot airplanes.
i have flown a little over all parts of the world:and it is ture that geography has been very useful to me. at a glance i can distinguish china from arizona. if one gets lost in the night, such knowledge is valuable.
in the course of this life i have had a great many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence. i have lived a great deal among grown-ups. i have seen them intimately, close at hand. and hasn't much improved my opinion of them.
whenever imet one of them who seemed to me at all clearsighted, i tried the experiment of showing him my drowing number one. which i have always kept. i would try to find out, so, if this was a person of true understanding. but, whoever it was, he ,or she, would always say:
"that is a hat."
then i would never talkto that people about boa constrictors, or primeval forest, or stars. i would bring myself down to his level. i would talk to him about bridge, and golf, and politics, and neckties. and the grown-ups would be greatly pleased to have met such a sensible man.
写英语读后感篇6
notice: this was the companion piece of the adventures of tom sawyer, and also the continuation.
although it could be said that this book was the continuation, still, it started a whole new story of huck.
basic information:
huck: a real friend of tom sawyer
jim: a nigger (forgive me, though the word was offensive, it was the word which went through the whole book) who felt discontent of the widow, and ran away to seek freedom.
the king: a swindler who claimed to be a king, and went along with huck and jim to cheat money.
the duke: also a cheater, who went alongside with the king.
mr. and mrs. phelps: tom sawyer’s relatives.
while huck was being raised by the widow, miss watson, he found his father sitting in his room, and he was being brought away. there, the true adventures began…
while huck’s father left huck for three days, he ran away, and got to the island of jacksonville, which he was familiar to. however, the second night, he met jim! while he found out, jim was sound asleep. jim was being shocked to death when he found out that huck was there too (you know, jim was also a run-away, so he was also scared that someone would find him). then they were together, and got elsewhere.
they slept at day, and took actions at night. one day, they evidently met the king and the duke. actually, i have been foolish enough to believe that they were actually a king and a duke! to tell the truth, they were just a couple of cheaters. but then, they went along with huck and jim, and while they claimed that they were the royals, they were being treated in a good way (which i hated).
on the way, the king and the duke cheated a pretty lot of money. i could say that they nearly gained a thousand dollars. then they pretended to be the brothers in a family who had a large amount of money. however, they were being discovered, and they ran away as soon as they could.
while the days went by, huck was beginning to show detesting in the duke and the king, and he ran away from them when he sought a chance. however, he found out that jim was gone! soon, the two caught up, and the duke told him where to go. and this was the last time ever that huck should see these two fellows.
what was the most amusing thing was that, in the end, he met tom again in tom’s uncle’s house! mr. and mrs. phelps were waiting for tom for a very long time, and when they found a boy standing over their (huck, of course), they were so overexcited that they thought huck was tom! huck found himself in a real depressed situation: if tom came, how was he ever going to explain it all? he decided to go looking for tom.
when tom found out that huck was in front of him, he was surprised that huck was still alive (because when huck was lost, all of the people in town thought that huck was already killed)! tom was naturally a smart boy, and he came up with a way. he made himself sid, the brother of tom, and was also greeted by the phelps.
of course, jim was locked up, and tom promised huck to save him. they let jim do a lot of things, such as taking a rattlesnake as a pet, and also watering a tiny plant with his tears (trust me, i never had no idea what it was about). finally when, they made all of the efforts to save jim, they found that in miss watson (she was jim’s hostess)’s will, she already set free to jim!

when i first read don quixote's work, i thought that he was a funny vulgar work. the nervous "brave spirit" of the protagonist is vividly displayed in the book, which makes people look down upon him more and more. however, i think that the book asks for a certain truth. the essence of people's most basic is to achieve it recklessly for their own goals. from the book, we can see that a skinny knight like a sorghum pole, the fantastic gentleman always shows his integrity and good nature in the process of realizing this, which is the highest spirit of human beings, but also because of his simplicity, he makes many jokes.
the task of don quixote has become a famous model in the world for learning. his character is complex. on the one hand, he is divorced from reality and always indulges in fantasy. he takes the estimation of his own strength and his motherland, and fails repeatedly. but on the other hand, his motive is pure and kind. he is determined to eradicate the demons in the world, oppose oppression, eliminate the strong and support the weak. he is full of selfless and fearless spirit. for the question of the crooked knights, his comments are always profound, clear and philosophical.
there are nearly 700 characters in don quixote's book, which describes a wide picture of life, truly and comprehensively reflects the contradictions of the spanish kingdom at the beginning of the 16th century, condemns the shamelessness of the aristocracy, and expresses deep sympathy for the sufferings of the people. i think it is this willingness that makes this work deeply loved by people all over the world, so that it is loved by 54 countries and regions in the world one hundred of the writers were selected as the best classics.
this is the charm of don quixote, and i am also deeply attracted by it. i read it over and over again, and i have many aftereffects after reading it.
